Old coin collection? Worth anything?
I’ve stumbled upon an old coin collection and I am curious to see if it is of any worth. I have about 40-50 coins, dating from many years, the oldest is a 1898 canadian penny, and there are plenty of other coins big and small. Where could I find out how much they are worth and possibly sell them?

How do I determine what my coin collection is worth?
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been collecting money. Bills & Coins from all over the world. I don’t really know if they are of any value but some of them are pretty old so I think some of them are worth money. I even have one dating back to the 18 hundred’s. I live in Vancouver, BC (Canada) and I am wondering if anyone knows if there is someone that I can contact that I can take my large collection to that can help me go through it and determine how much they are worth if anything at all because I’d like to sell them. I know sometimes people collect coins or baseball cards that have errors on them. They are rare sometimes, therefore worth more money.
I went back to the Dollar General to see if any of the other Bibles had the word Jeebus, and none of them did. Is there a Bible Collectors guide to pricing? How does this all work?……
Will Limited Edition Coins Be Worth Something In The Future?
Ok this is the situation. I hope to collect rare things such as coins now in the hopes that decades down the line my children or perhaps my children’s children or so on and so forth will one day be able to sell them as rare collectors items to make big money on them.
Those of you in the UK may be aware of the program Dickinsons real deal where people come along with rare collectable items and they sell for lots of money.
Well i’m hoping that by me buying rare limited edition coins now (and keeping them in their boxes with their certificates in mint condition) i’m sort of “investing” my money for future generations of my family.

No, Limited Edition does not mean millions were printed. The two links I posted the Darwin coin will only have 5000 minted and the Austrlia collection one will only have 10,000 minted.
It’s not like those other “commemorative” coins that enter circulation in their millions, these ones never enter circulation and are collectables.
There’s a difference between a “Limited Edition Coin” and a “Commemorative Coin”.
