I am looking for advice when purchasing a Platinum American Eagle coin…?
First off i started collecting 6 months ago and have acquired coins from a Morgan to Seated liberty half to silver eagle, presidential dollar, commemoratives, etc. I purchased my first gold coin a 2008 $5 buffalo graded by ANACS in SP 70(satin) Now i am looking to purchase a $10 platinum eagle and have narrowed it down to a 2008 NGC coin. I am aware that these coins come in MS 69/ MS 70 with a regular label or the E.R. I like the idea of early release but would like to have a MS 70 grade. Looking at PCGS price grade a 1997 $10 in MS 70 is listed at $7,000. The value of a 1997 $10 in MS 69 is $145 so this brings me to believe that i am much better off purchasing a 70 grade. (tho they did not offer E.R. in 1997) I am looking at this from a collectors viewpoint and would like to say that i own a $7,000 coin (i am aware this may not appreciate in all cases) would paying $300 dollars for a regular 2008 MS 70 be overpaying by too much, this seems to suit my price range as i know platinum is around a G/ounce. i am trying to decide between the regular label MS 70 or an E.R. 69 please share anything advice/comment you may have. 21/male. thank you

All my bills are paid and along with 6 months income saved I have a extra $30,000 cash?
I have no debt and want to invest $30,000 cash as its just sitting in my apt. in my dresser doing nothing. I Wonder what I could invest it in to make a few extra bucks? I was thinking about buying a rare ms70 cameo gold coin I found one that only 50 were minted in the 1800s and only 2 are rated at ms70 cameo. the coin cost $29,482. Are these type of extremely rare coins worth collecting?

How much do you think this collection of vintage pokemon firgurines is worth?
When I was little I lived in Tokyo, and I, of course, loved pokemon. I never actually understood how to “fight them”, but I loved the way they looked. I bought nine figurines (which doesn’t sound like much but when you look at them all together it seems like a good amount). The figurines are not like the figurines of today, because instead of being made out of plastic, they are made out of this rubbery sort of material with a glossy finish.
Ok, so here are the ones I have (I don’t know exact names): some kind of cat with tiny fangs and a gold coin on his head, a fox looking thing with fire fur, a really cute pink one with an egg, pikachu (I remember that one!), squirtle (that one as well!), another like cat-looking one with a large, plummed tail, a pink oval shaped one with round blue eyes, a blue one with a giant swirl in the middle, and clafaerie.
Do you know anything about dollar coins?
my mom has a collection of coins and we were just going through them together. She has an Ike dollar coin that say 1776 a dot in the middle then 1976. Does this mean it was made in between these years? or when was it made? Is it worth anything? She also has a gold dollar coin that says 1817 a dot 1825. is this worth anything??
